# Slides Commands

> Initialize and read a saved native presentation with a human credential.

# crewship slides

Read or initialize a schema-1 presentation on an existing empty private Page.
The server must enable `CREWSHIP_SLIDES_ENABLED`. The singular `slide` alias
accepts the same commands. These human commands refuse agent credentials.

## `crewship slides read <page-slug|@ID>`

Read the confirmed head using a current human credential with `pages:read`.
The result contains `schema_version`, `revision`, `order_version`, `content_hash`
and the complete native `deck`. Another workspace OWNER needs audited private
access; ADMIN and other unrelated users receive 404.

## `crewship slides at-rev <page-slug|@ID> <revision>`

Read one positive immutable revision. A missing revision returns 404; the
command never substitutes the latest head.

## `crewship slides initialize <page-slug|@ID> --file <request.json>`

The Page's current human custodian can initialize its populated deck using
`pages:write`. The required `--file` accepts a JSON file or `-` for stdin. Supply
`page_id`, `schema_version: 1`, `base_rev: 0`, a stable `mutation_id` and a complete
`deck` with the same immutable `deck_id`. See the
[native Slides guide](/guides/slides-native.md) for the bounded schema fixture.

Keep the exact request file when confirmation is uncertain. Retrying it with
the same current actor returns the original receipt, marked `duplicate: true`.
Changed content under the same mutation ID conflicts. The receipt contains
`mutation_id`, `revision`, `order_version`, `content_hash` and `duplicate`.

Initialization creates no Page or sharing grant. Patch, reorder, restore,
agent creation, presentation mode and export are separate capabilities.
